What is the sole reason that you entered the Crypto/NFT space? Some say decentralization, some say, “that this one is going to MOON”, but we all came here for a sense of overall Order amidst the current chaos, which is the current financial travesty that we live in worldwide. What we need is transparency (A clear-cut, fluid view of how money/crypto is being handled), dedication (proof of work and actual results, not hearsay), and a team who is not afraid to ruffle some feathers along the way (call out projects who have intentions to harm a specific community). Today I have the absolute pleasure to cover a project that is a “Secret Society of Ducks, Hell-bent on dominating Cardano”. This is The Mallard Order.
The Mallard Order is a project that took the Cardano Blockchain by storm. This was due to the marketing team utilizing a brand new method (the first of its kind on Cardano, which many other projects have tried to imitate) of marketing by offering Three Trials to ensure only the truly dedicated would reap the rewards for their efforts.
Trial 1: Loyalty
Outsiders were assigned the task of creating an Origami Duck Effigy, in which they were asked to place the effigy in a place that created the perfect aura to then state The Oath of Secrecy for all to see in a Twitter post.
Trial 2: Wisdom
Distress was brought upon the Crypt where the intruder dropped four letters that were deployed to the members of the community to decipher the cryptic letters. Those outsiders who successfully cracked the code via the answering terminal received the Loyalty Role.
Trial 3: Strength
Outsiders were put up to a challenge of competing in various online games, those who finished within the top 50% of players received the Strength Role. These outsiders’ true strength was put on display in live-streamed fashion via the official Mallard Order Twitch Channel.
Outsiders who demonstrated their worth for the Crypt by being successful in 2 out of the 3 Trials were granted the Mallard WL. The best in each trial won an Invitation Letter. Looking back now, do you wish you embarked on these Trials?
Given the remarkable start to such an ominous project, let’s take a look at the facts and data to show where the project stands amongst the Blue Chips in the Cardano NFT space. To date, The Mallard Order has released three extraordinary collections. These include 500 Invitation Letters, 6500 Ducks, and 6500 Relics. Let’s break each one of these down individually to see the true value of each of these assets.

First off, WOW! You cannot ignore the sheer volume/data that these NFTs have produced. These letters were airdropped to community members from various events, giveaways, and contributions to the overall CNFT Community, per the Mallard Manifesto. Utilities of these NFTs are located in the side image! *****I think it is worth noting that their “airdropped collection” will reach 1 Million ADA Total Volume before most CNFT projects reach 100k ADA Volume on their main mint collection*****
Now it is time to provide the facts for the second part of The Mallard Order Collection, The Ducks. This specific collection is considered to be the “Main Mint” and the most recognizable of the three collections. This NFT collection features 250+ Unique Traits and 5 Schools of Thought (will discuss these in further detail later on in the post). This specific collection, according to OpenCNFT.io, is ranked #15 CNFT All Time in Total Volume calculated in (ADA).

The 8.4 Million ADA volume speaks for itself, and it would be hard to have never heard of these “Ducks” unless you live under a rock that doesnt have WIFI and your phone is completely out of battery. With that being said, I pulled a chart from Twitter weekly engagement analysis created by @goofy_crisp (Twitter handle) to show the 50 most tweeted CNFT projects in a week. Although this report only covers the previous week of March 20, 2023, where they currently ranked #6 on the chart. I would highly suggest you follow @goofy_crisp to keep up with his weekly reports, and you can backtrack to see that The Mallard Order has a major impact on the overall Twitter engagement!
Last but certainly not least of the collection, are The Relics. This collection is the most unique and detailed of the three so let's try and understand the full utility behind these ancient pieces of the Crypt. Just in case you were not counting, between all three of the collections, current to the time of this post, they have produced a total of 9,981,000 in total ADA volume in just over 8 months of inception. This is an absolutely ASTONISHING statistic! These types of numbers do not happen by chance. The founders/community did not wake up one day and say, “I hope this happens”, no this is a project that has a true purpose, meaning, and overall direction in what they want to achieve in this space.
If the collection’s pure dominance of the CNFT market has not been enough to convince you that The Mallard Order is a Blue Chip NFT, here are a few more utilities that are being whispered throughout The Crypt.
These Mallards continue to impress with their marketing techniques. They are set to launch the “Raider’s Guild” which is a Marketing Dashboard in Q1-Q2 of 2023. Why is this important? In any business, you can have the best product at the highest productivity with bad marketing exposure and your business will not thrive. Hindsight, if you have an average product with average productivity with exceptional marketing and it will thrive. Why is this? More eyes = more sales, period. If an NFT only markets in Web3 and only stays within one blockchain, it is already restricted to an already niche market and closes itself off to new investors. This new interface will allow holders to be rewarded for spreading the word and marketing much like an independent contractor. Once again, why is this important? Economics 101 suggests that “people respond to incentives”. As a holder, if I see that I will be rewarded for showing off my own asset and telling people about it, I will have the incentive to push harder as 1 individual marketer. Then imagine if all 1700+ holders buy into this same incentive, you now have a powerhouse “word of mouth” marketing team via the holders, plus the projects marketing team all working towards one goal. In my opinion, word of mouth is the best form of marketing. Why you may ask, if my best friend tells me XYZ about why he supports a project, I am 100% more likely to go grab one than seeing marketing from the project alone. This is superior thinking for an NFT project.
Lastly, The Mallard Order has jumped on an opportunity that has presented itself in recent months, which is Bitcoin Ordinal Inscriptions. What even is this? This is BTC’s ability to attach files or extra data to satoshis, which is the smallest denomination of Bitcoin that creates an inscription that can be sent as an NFT. This has been a huge topic in the NFT/Crypto realm as of late and Mallards jumped in “hell-bent on dominating BTC Ordinals”.
